KVIC Launches Training Programs for 2024-25 at Arkaneer Premises
Two Key Programs on Candle Making & Packaging and Bamboo Jewellery Kick Off with Strong Participation
On November 14, 2024, at 11:30 AM, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) launched its 2024-25 training programs at the Arkaneer Premises. These programs, sponsored by KVIC and organized in partnership with the National Bamboo and Industrial Research Technology (NBIRT), aim to empower local artisans with valuable skills.
The two training programs, Candle Making and Packaging and Bamboo Jewellery, are designed to help participants gain specialized skills that can contribute to local economic development. Both training sessions are running concurrently from November 14 to November 29, 2024, with a 15-day duration.

The Candle Making and Packaging program is being held at NBIRT Arkaneer, with 20 participants enrolled, while the Bamboo Jewellery program is being conducted at NBIRT, Uttam Chowmuhani, also with 20 trainees.
Both programs have been met with enthusiasm and are progressing smoothly, promising to equip participants with skills that could open new avenues in their professional lives.
